Novartis, Chiron Lab and Office

The Novartis Chiron Vacaville Manufacturing Facility Office Lab Warehouse Expansion Project added approximately 18,000 square feet of office, lab, clean room and warehouse space.

The new two-story expansion contains cGMP class 100,000 clean rooms, freezer room, warehouse space, a meeting room, a break room, office space, lab space, a wellness room with bath cores on 1st and 2nd floors.

The Vacaville Purification Unit housed in a 3,500 square foot building was completed along with a new maintenance facility.

The main project challenge was to perform build-out activities within an existing operational facility. Unanticipated shutdowns would have been very costly to the client, and a high level of coordination with the owner on all construction activities was vital to project success.
